COVID-19’s affect on our trash removal abilities as a community.

Another resource is the Coudersport Area Lions Club which runs a recycling center at the Coudersport Borough complex near Kightlinger Motors. March 30th on Facebook they stated that “Recycling will continue to be open on Saturdays 9-12 for clean, sorted recyclables.”

It was closed on Saturday, April 11, 2020, in honor of the celebration of Easter as stated on their Facebook page. According to the Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce, Steve Erway is the Lions Club contact at #814-274-8800 if you have any questions related to the recycling center.

Please note that the Homer Township supervisors unanimously voted to NOT put a dumpster at the township building. We can all utilize the services listed above and we could also contact our legislators to request that they open up the Potter County Solid Waste Authority to the public once again, sooner rather than later.

We DO plan to have a Spring Clean-Up as soon as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
